Monday - Rachmaninov in Munich
Penny Gore introduces a performance of Rachmaninov鈥檚 Piano Concerto No 3, plus medieval music from Ensemble Celadon and pieces by Holst, Messiaen, Haydn, Sch眉tz and Scriabin.
Penny Gore kicks off this week of programmes with a performance of Rachmaninov鈥檚 Third Piano Concerto in Munich. Concert recordings from around Europe include Medieval pieces from Ensemble Celadon and choral music by Schutz and Schein from the Leipzig Cantorey, featured every day this week, and of course there are regular contributions from the 蜜芽传媒 performing groups. Today, there鈥檚 music by Holst, Messiaen, Haydn, Mozart, Scriabin and Richard Strauss
