Carducci String Quartet, Bach's Passion

Sean Rafferty is joined by the Carducci String Quartet, who performs live in the studio, and Keelan Carew shares his suggestions on Bach's Passion music.

Matthew Denton (violin), Michelle Fleming (violin), Eoin Schmidt-Martin, (viola), and Emma Denton (cello) form the Carducci String Quartet. Exploring the music of Mozart and Dvo艡谩k, the Anglo-Irish string quartet joins Sean Rafferty tonight for a chat and live performance in the studio.

Ahead of Good Friday, pianist Keelan Carew joins In Tune to discuss J.S. Bach's Passion music. The German composer notably wrote this music for the services in Leipzig, when he was the Thomaskantor.
