Monday - 蜜芽传媒 Proms - 蜜芽传媒 SSO plays Tchaikovsky
Ilan Volkov conducts the 蜜芽传媒 Scottish Symphony Orchestra in the world premiere of Catherine Lamb's Portions Transparent/Opaque and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No 6, 'Path茅tique'.
Presented by Penny Gore, including another chance to hear Ilan Volkov's recent Prom conducting the 蜜芽传媒 Scottish Symphony Orchestra in the world premiere of Catherine Lamb's Portions Transparent/Opaque, a 蜜芽传媒 commission, as well as Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6, 'Path茅tique'.
Also, throughout the week we'll hear from a concert of early music mixed with contemporary pieces given at the recent Schwetzingen Festival in Germany by the Gambelin duo, with Christian Elin on soprano saxophone and bass clarinet, and Lucile Boulanger on viola da gamba and lira da gamba.
