Johnnie takes a closer look at Birmingham Royal Ballet's spin on Black Sabbath, which recently premiered at the city's Hippodrome. Plus, Matt Baty from Pigs x7 picks his Rock God.
Black Sabbath and ballet may not be immediate bedfellows, but Birmingham Royal Ballet has recently triumphed in its marrying of the two. The company's current three-act piece, set to a soundtrack of Ozzy and co, recently premiered at the city's Hippodrome - Johnnie marks the occasion for This Week in Rock.
Also, Matt Baty, frontman for the gloriously heavy Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, is in the spotlight choosing his Rock God, to coincide with the band's UK tour.
