Live coverage from Eugene in Oregon of the Diamond League final鈥檚 opening night, with the series finale being held outside of Europe for the very first time.

Known as the Prefontaine Classic, the two-day season closer is being held at the iconic Hayward Field where many of the athletes competed for World Athletics Championships medals just last summer. The 100m events are undoubtedly the highlight of the evening, with Great Britain鈥檚 Zharnel Hughes and Dina Asher-Smith in contention for podium places along with home favourites Noah Lyles and world champion Sha鈥機arri Richardson.

Other star names competing include South African sprinter Wayde van Niekerk, Kenyan middle distance runner Faith Kipyegon and Norway鈥檚 400m hurdler Karsten Warholm.
