Thirty minutes of classical inspiration

Take time out with a 30-minute soundscape of classical music, including choral music by James MacMillan and music from the world of film and television by Korngold and Lorne Balfe.

Back to back classical music to help you wind down for the evening, including a voyage on Korngold’s The Sea Hawk, a movement from Grieg’s characterful first string quartet, and a quiet Nocturne by Chopin. Music from Lorne Balfe’s score for the ѿý Television series “His Dark Materials” should blow away any remaining cobwebs, followed by an exquisite glimpse into eternity from James MacMillan, ending with ‘Closing’ from Philip Glass’s Glassworks.
