Celebrating Sir John Tavener

The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Singers, conducted by Daniel Hyde, mark the tenth anniversary of Sir John Tavener's death in a concert from King's College, as part of the Cambridge Music Festival.

Intoxicating and hauntingly beautiful, Sir John Tavener’s work has had an undeniable impact on British music.

To mark the tenth anniversary of his death, the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Singers, conducted by Daniel Hyde, join the Cambridge Music Festival to present some of Tavener's most famous works alongside music by those who influenced him, his teachers and pupils, and those who knew him from childhood.

Recorded earlier this month at King's College, Cambridge and presented by Ian Skelly.
