This week, Cerys welcomes musician Clive Carroll to The Blues Show to explore the blues influences in the music of John Renbourn, known for his acoustic guitar playing and as a founding member of Pentangle. A chance meeting with English guitar legend John Renbourn proved the catalyst for Clive鈥檚 debut album, Sixth Sense, which John Renbourn deemed 鈥渁 milestone in the journey of the steel-string guitar鈥�. He subsequently took Clive on the road with him and the pair toured North America and Europe together, launching Clive鈥檚 solo performing career. This year, Clive released The Abbot, a double album celebrating John's work.
