Gap Finders - Love Said
We hear from two women 鈥� who both once fell for romance fraudsters - that have created an organisation to help and advise other victims, after they found a gap in support.
Anna Rowe from Kent, and Cecilie Fjellhoy from Norway, set up their organisation, Love Said, to support, help and advise victims of Romance Fraud 鈥� after they both fell for romance fraudsters themselves.
Cecilie鈥檚 story is so extraordinary, and her fraudster so notorious 鈥� they made a Netflix documentary about him called 鈥淭he Tinder Swindler鈥� 鈥� which 166 million people watched in it鈥檚 first month of release.
Anna and Cecilie say they found a significant gap in support for victims after their experiences, and are now working with police forces, banks and other organisations that try to prevent fraud, to fill it.
We explore what they鈥檙e doing, what they need to do to move forward, and what they want to put in place for victims in the future.
