Vernon Kay is honoured to welcome singer, actor and TV personality Marie McDonald McLaughlin Lawrie. Better known as Pop icon Lulu, she will choose the songs that have soundtracked her life in this omnibus edition of Tracks Of My Years.

Starting her career with her band 鈥楾he Luvvers鈥� at just 14, Lulu had hits in the mid-60s with 鈥淪hout鈥� and 鈥淟eave a Little Love鈥�, playing alongside the giants of the time such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Kinks.

After going solo, Lulu entered the world of acting and debuted with Sidney Poitier, singing the title track 鈥淭o Sir, With Love鈥�, which became a huge hit both sides of The Atlantic. She then went on to present various 蜜芽传媒 television series. Other musical accomplishments from her varied career include winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1969 with 鈥淏oom-Bang-A-Bang鈥�. She鈥檚 recorded a Bond theme, 鈥淭he Man With The Golden Gun鈥�, and famously collaborated with Take That on 鈥淩elight My Fire鈥�.

More recently, Lulu launched the closing ceremony of the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games and appeared in the TV shows 鈥淎bsolutely Fabulous鈥�, 鈥淪trictly Come Dancing鈥�, 鈥淩uPaul鈥檚 Drag Race UK鈥� and 鈥淭he Masked Singer鈥�, and was recognised for her services to Music, Entertainment and Charity, having been awarded an OBE and a CBE.

Lulu is off on her 鈥淐hampagne for Lulu鈥� farewell tour in April, celebrating 60 years in music. The tour starts in Glasgow on the 9th and concludes at the London Palladium on the 17th April, with warm-up shows on the 6th and 7th April at Glenrothes and Aberdeen.
