Danish Chamber Orchestra play Mozart
Tom McKinney showcases the best performances from the UK and beyond, including Dvorak's Water Goblin and Mozart's brilliant 36th Symphony, the 'Linz'.
Tom McKinney showcases the best performances by ѿý orchestras, choirs, ensembles and other great performing groups from Europe and around the globe.
Today's selection includes a celebration of Scotland with Thea Musgrave's "Loch Ness", Dvorak's tone poem "The Water Goblin", Bach played brilliantly on the guitar by former Radio 3 New Generation Artist Thibaut Garcia and Mozart's 36th symphony, the "Linz", composed at lightning speed in 1883. That work is also part of our mini survey of music-making in Denmark, featuring the Danish Chamber Orchestra with the celebrated conductor Adam Fischer.
