Another chance to hear the songs and incredible stories in this week鈥檚 Tracks of My Years Omnibus Edition as Vernon is joined by Hollywood Royalty - Academy Award-winning actor Russell Crowe, who selects the songs and singers that have inspired him.

Russell has starred in some of the biggest blockbusters ever, from 鈥淟.A. Confidential鈥�, 鈥淎 Beautiful Mind鈥�, 鈥淟es Miserables鈥� to of course his Oscar-winning role as Maximus Decimus Meridius in 鈥淕ladiator鈥�, and although he doesn鈥檛 quite give us his famous line 鈥渁t my signal unleash hell鈥�, he does talk about taking his family to The Colosseum in Rome which he jokingly describes as 鈥淭he Office鈥�.

As we鈥檒l hear, he is a keen musician and has seen and met all the artists he has chosen. And he livened up last summer in the UK by bringing 鈥淩ussell鈥檚 Indoor Garden Party鈥� to venues across the country in July. It was an organic night of music and stories with his band The Gentlemen Barbers. AND, at the end of June, he took said band to Worthy Farm for the first time.
