Growing up in a small town in New Mexico, USA Lady Blackbird began singing at a young age. Taking influences from Adele to Tina Turner, Chaka Khan to Billie Holiday, her award-winning debut album Black Acid Soul was released in 2021 and featured her cover of Nina Simone's Blackbird. Her second album Slang Spirituals is due out this autumn.
