Banshee, Balloon Artist & Scout's Honour
Anne Marie Wallace chats to Banbridge Buskfest winners Banshee, balloon artist Darren Mortiboy and scout leader Lee Walker, who is on expedition in Norway.
Following appearances at the Rory Gallagher festival, Stendhal Festival & Buskfest in Banbridge, James and Rosie from Banshee join Anne Marie in studio for a chat and a live performance. Award winning balloon artist Darren Mortiboy is just back from a Balloon Art Convention in Las Vegas where he blew away the competition & won an Entertainers Award.
Scout leader Lee Walker from Newtownabbey is representing the UK at Roverway 2024; he speaks to Anne Marie from southern Norway where 5,000 scouts from all over the world are taking part in the youth adventure expedition.
Anne Marie meets performers taking part in some of the events for Belfast's International Ballet Festival, gets a ceramics lesson from artist McCall Gilfillan and speaks to Cara Holmes, director of Notes From Sheepland, an award winning documentary about artist and shepherd Orla Barry.
Paula cooks BBQ brine pork, grilled corn & potato salad.
