Elizabeth Alker presents an afternoon of great music-making including chamber music from this year鈥檚 Edinburgh International Festival and an appearance by the 蜜芽传媒 National Orchestra of Wales at the 蜜芽传媒 Proms with a programme with a strong Welsh flavour.

Chamber music from Edinburgh features horn player Stefan Dohr who has been described as the 鈥榢ing of his instrument鈥�. When he鈥檚 not performing as Principal Horn for the Berlin Philharmonic he鈥檚 a keen chamber musician and for his Edinburgh International Festival recital at the Queen鈥檚 Hall he joins friends, violinist Caroline Widmann and pianist D茅nes V谩rjon. Together they play Romantic music by Brahms and Beethoven, showcasing the breath of the horn鈥檚 virtuoso capabilities.
