Lynette is joined by writer Emma Heatherington, from Donaghmore, Co Tyrone. Earlier this year Emma was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma which is a type of incurable blood cancer. She has just finished one cycle of treatment and there is one more to come. Stem cell transplant which starts next week. She is having a good day today, boosted by Steroids, and she is in studio to talk about the past year, how she is dealing with it and, as a partner and mother, how her family are coping. In her late 40's, the disease is usually associated with older men. She thought she was in peri menopause. Life changing. She is worth a listen. We appreciate her coming in and sharing her story.
