The women鈥檚 hockey semi-final opens up a jam-packed afternoon before weightlifting crowns a men鈥檚 61kg Olympic champion.

Over at the velodrome, the men鈥檚 sprint and women鈥檚 keirin continue in the early stages, plus the men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 team pursuit will both crown their champions too. Team GB have enjoyed a lot of success on bikes in recent games, but Italy, Denmark and Germany also boast proud records in the sport.
