Czech Philharmonic Prom plus a Homage to Smetana
Tom McKinney revisits the best of this season of Proms concerts. Today the Czech Philharmonic plays Dvorak鈥檚 Cello Concerto & Suk鈥檚 Symphony No. 2, plus chamber music from Prague.
Presented by Tom McKinney, including another chance to hear last Tuesday night's Prom concert featuring the Czech Philharmonic in Dvorak's Cello Concerto with soloist Anastasia Kobekina, alongside Josef Suk's Symphony No. 2 in the second half.
And to start today鈥檚 Classical Live, there's chamber music from Prague - a concert given in May to mark the 200th anniversary of Bedrich Smetana's birth.
