Cerys welcomes UK Blues Award winner Toby Lee back to The Blues Show to perform live in the studio ahead of the release of his album House on Fire. Toby plays two tracks from the new album as well as an exclusive Paolo Nutini cover!
For this album, Toby worked with Shadow Hands (Bnann and Gareth Young), who've worked with Tom Grennan and Orla Gartland. Toby Lee started playing the ukulele aged 4 and found a love of blues music from an early age. After posting a get well soon jam for B.B. King when he was 10, he was invited by B.B. King's sisters to perform at his club on Beale Street, Memphis. Dubbed a future superstar of the blues by Joe Bonamassa, Toby has shared stages with Chicago's Ronnie Bake Brooks, Whitesnake's Bernie Marsden, Buddy Guy, Walter Trout, Billy Gibbons and Slash.
