Jimbei tells Big Mom that he wants to leave their alliance and recalls how the members of the Sun Pirates encouraged him to do what he wants, which is to help Luffy become the Pirate King. Although annoyed at Jimbei鈥檚 request, Big Mom agrees to let him go if he loses something like she is losing him. She brings out a roulette to determine what it is that he will have to lose. Meanwhile, Luffy鈥檚 group is stuck in a sea of solidified water candy. Pedro reveals that he once used to be a pirate and was defeated here in this sea. He also strongly suggests that, while they鈥檙e in her territory, Luffy should take Big Mom鈥檚 Poneglyph, which he will need for his quest to becoming the Pirate King. Pedro volunteers to get the Poneglyph while Luffy and the others focus on rescuing Sanji. Then Whole Cake Island comes into sight, and they see a man who they think is Sanji waiting for them on the shore.
