Chart topping singer songwriter Jack Savoretti joins Cerys to share his favourite blues records.
The Italian-British acoustic singer began playing guitar at the age of 16 and he鈥檚 released eight studio albums to date. His 2019 album 'Singing to Strangers' and his 2021 album 'Europiana' both topped the UK album charts. Earlier this year he released the album Miss Italia, an album predominately sung in Italian.
Being no stranger to Radio 2, Jack has performed live for Jo Whiley, Dermot O'Leary and as part of Radio 2's Piano Room and at Radio 2's Proms In The Park. However this visit to Radio 2 he's exploring his love of blues music which ranges from Sonny Boy Williamson II to Aretha Franklin.
