A flashback of Orochi’s childhood. Orochi meets a mysterious woman who is extremely bitter about the fall of the Kurozumi family and persuades Orochi to try to take the shogunate, which his grandfather failed to do. With the ability of the Clone-Clone Fruit, the woman turns herself into Oden and convinces his father, then shogun, to take in Orochi. She also turns herself into Sukiyaki to help Orochi gain his retainers confidence. Soon, Sukiyaki passes away, and Orochi takes Oden’s place as the shogun. Meanwhile at sea during the fourth year of Oden’s journey, the Whitebeard Pirates meet the Roger Pirates on a certain island. Oden is flabbergasted by the power of Whitebeard and Roger’s clash.
