Orochi’s subordinates barely hesitate with their decision to serve Kaido. Meanwhile, Marco confronts Perospero, who plots to destroy the alliance between the Big Mom Pirates and the Animal Kingdom Pirates. Back on Onigashima, Kaido tells Momonosuke that he will stop the execution if Momonosuke says he is not Oden and Toki’s son. Although Momonosuke is terrified, he musters his courage and proudly declares that he is indeed the son of Kozuki Oden who will one day be the shogun of Wano. Luffy and Yamato rush through the castle to save Momonosuke. When Luffy removes Yamato’s handcuffs, they explode. Yamato is shocked that his father would actually try to kill him and cut ties with Kaido, swearing to take him down. The Akazaya samurais, driven by Oden’s will and the phantom of their lord, arrive at the performance floor and attack Kaido.
