The Private Passions mix
Celebrating 30 years of Radio 3's Private Passions, a 30-minute music mix curated from some of the picks from celebrity guests who have appeared on the programme.
A half-hour mix of uninterrupted classical music, perfect for your end-of-day wind-down.
To celebrate 30 years of Radio 3's Private Passions, this special Classical Mixtape has been curated from suggestions by the programme's presenter Michael Berkeley of music tracks that have featured on the programme. Some of the tracks have been popular choices, picked by multiple guests over the years, and others have been new to Michael and made a lasting impression on him. The choices include John Tavener's The Lamb, one of Strauss's Four Last Songs, Stravinsky's Rag Time, and tracks by celebrated singers Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau and Cesária Évora.
