Norman Collins was a leading broadcasting executive. In the 1940s he was head of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Light Service and was instrumental in commissioning 'Woman's Hour' and 'Dick Barton'. He also helped establish ITV and was a director of ITN. He wrote sixteen novels and two plays.
