Siobhan Casey, Derry Girl and NI Commissioner for Older People

Siobhan Casey is Day 10 into her new job as Commissioner for Older People in Northern Ireland and speaks to Mark about growing up in Derry, her older parents and her experience.

Her father was a popular Derry bookie called Dickie Gallagher who had her when he was 54. Her mum was in her late 40s. Siobhan Casey, the newly appointed Commissioner for Older People for Northern Ireland, says she knows about older parents and is bringing her decades of business experience as well as personal understanding to her new role. She's also a proud Derry Girl, former Thornhill pupil and is still best friends with her primary school pals. It's a fascinating interview from someone who is Day 10 in her new job.
