Ocean Child is a powerful and immersive musical narrative commemorating the tragic sinking of the RMS Tayleur off Lambay Island in the Irish Sea in 1854 with the loss of almost 400 lives.

Written by internationally renowned composer and musician Neil Martin, the piece features narration from legendary Irish actor Stephen Rea and music from the West Ocean String Quartet (Maria Ryan, Niamh Crowley, Ken Rice & Neil Martin), Louise Mulcahy on uilleann pipes, Geraldine O鈥橠oherty on harp and boy soprano Mathew Indikuzhy.
