Your perfect Sunday soundtrack

Join Sarah Walker for three hours of classical masterpieces, perfect for a peaceful start to your day.

Sarah Walker brings you three hours of classical music to reflect, restore, and refresh.

Today, Sarah Walker whips up a diverse musical spread, from 16th and 17th century masterpieces by Johann Sebastian Bach and Thomas Tallis, to comforting and glorious romantic music by Robert Schumann, Georges Bizet and Dora Pejacevic.

There are also tracks from some of the brightest musical talents in the classical scene today including a warm and lyrical choral work by Kerensa Briggs and a serene folk-inspired track by cellist Fredrik Schøyen Sjölin and his band the Danish String Quartet.

Plus, a light music classic which was used as the theme tune for the ѿý series The Secret Garden…

A Tandem Production for ѿý Radio 3.
