This week American blues multi-instrumentalist Jerron Paxton calls in from the road, whilst he's on tour in the UK. Jerron grew up in Los Angeles, listening eagerly to the radio for Black American traditional music that connected him to his ancestral roots in the South. Jerron has been described as a songwriter, inheritor of tradition and a walking, talking jukebox, he plays the piano, fiddle, guitar, banjo and more. His music builds a bridge between generations of the past and the future, he plays a range of traditional blues, ragtime, old-time and Cajun blues. His latest album of originals, Things Done Change was released in October 2024.
