Dealing with grief in Glenarm, an impressive new role for a Kintra friend and VE Day in Kilkeel.
Helen Mark presents ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Ulster’s weekly Ulster-Scots magazine show alongside Rab Lennox, Rachel Hutchinson and Willie Hill.
We’ll hear a conversation between Jane Rea and Rosie Schaap - a writer who was born in the US but has made a home for herself in Glenarm. Her new book - a memoir - discusses how the people of Glenarm helped with her grief falling the death of her husband and mother.
Writer, historian and friend of Kintra Al Miller chats to Helen over a cuppa about his new role following his nomination by the Government of Ireland to sit on the Board of the Ulster Scots Agency. Al also takes a moment to read one of his poems.
The team also chat with Roberta Heaney from the Schomberg Society in Kilkeel to find out about ambitious plans to mark VE Day in the Kingdom or Mourne - marking 80 years since the end of the Second World War.
As always, listeners are invited to contact the programme with a good Ulster-Scots yarn or event to talk about. The easiest way to do that is by email - kintra@bbc.co.uk.
