There鈥檚 a miracle for Kate, and Joy offers something special.
At the Tearoom Emma and Natasha chat about Peggy and her passing. Natasha spots Lynda and wants to show her some high concept cricket tea ideas. Emma wonders why she鈥檚 bothering, but Natasha thinks it will help change public perception after the sewage leak. However, just as Natasha鈥檚 about to present them, Lynda tells her she won鈥檛 pander to snobbery in the division and wants to go back to basics. Lynda鈥檚 going to employ Fallon鈥檚 services though, because she鈥檒l deliver the basics at a lower cost. Natasha鈥檚 disappointed, but accepts Lynda鈥檚 decision isn鈥檛 personal.
Lynda consoles Lilian, who鈥檚 upset The Laurels want Peggy鈥檚 room cleared straightaway for a new resident. Emma comes over to share her condolences. Lilian reckons Peggy recognised a kindred spirit in Emma, who shares that she鈥檒l miss Peggy and offers to help clear her room.
Joy visits Brian to see how the family are and thinks Peggy must鈥檝e died just as St Stephens鈥 bells rang out. Brian thinks Peggy would鈥檝e liked the drama of that. When Joy says she鈥檚 found a recording of Peggy, Brian suggests joining them all at The Laurels.
Later at The Laurels, Emma and Lilian comfort tearful Kate when she comes across a decoration she made for Peggy as a child. Kate can鈥檛 get over Peggy not seeing Hilda before she died, only for Hilda to emerge from under Peggy鈥檚 bed. She must have visited Peggy before she died! When Joy and Brian arrive they all settle down to listen to the recording of Peggy reciting Tennyson鈥檚 鈥淩ing Out Wild Bells鈥.
