Gilles speaks with Ghanian rapper and producer M.anifest about his musical upbringing and his latest album, 鈥楴EW ROAD AND GUAVA TREES鈥�. From listening to Pat Thomas and Ebo Taylor with his ethnomusicologist grandfather, to creating his own musical style, bringing highlife and hip hop, together through cultural exchange and international collaborations, including Damon Albarn, Erykah Badu and, more recently, Flea.

Also, South-London-based vocalist, drummer and composer Momoko Gill joins Gilles in the studio to talk about her forthcoming album with Matthew Herbert, 鈥楥lay鈥�, and share some of her musical inspirations.
