Matt Tebbutt is joined by a host of special guests, including Nihal Arthanayake, Tanya Moodie and Ken Hom, for Wesak Day, a festival celebrating the birth, death and enlightenment of Buddha.

Matt Tebbutt hosts a special edition of the show in celebration of Wesak Day, also known as Buddha Day, which is for many Buddhists one of the most important festivals of the year. It usually falls on the first full moon in May and celebrates the birth, death and enlightenment of Buddha.

Joining Matt to celebrate this festival and share their experiences of the food and traditions of Buddhism are presenter, broadcaster and Headliners podcaster Nihal Arthanayake, star of Motherland and Silo Tanya Moodie, and guru of Chinese cuisine Ken Hom. The chefs cooking up some mouthwatering dishes, filled with Buddhist symbolism, are two-Michelin-star chef Andrew Wong, food writer, cook and fermenting expert Kenji Morimoto and Thai chef Worawan Kamann, who is the force behind one of Borough Market's most-loved street food stalls.
