Sara Cox makes her return to the Eurovision Song Contest commentary booth, co-hosting alongside Radio 2 colleague and fellow fan of the contest, Richie Anderson. They鈥檒l be live from Basel, Switzerland, for the second Semi-Final of the year!

Tonight sixteen countries take part, with the best ten qualifying for the Grand Final on Saturday night. Sara and Richie bring you all the action from the St. Jakobshalle arena, as we find out which countries' entries will be joining UK act, Remember Monday, in Saturday鈥檚 Grand Final... alongside the acts from France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the host country Switzerland.

Sara previously commentated on the Eurovision Song Contest alongside Scott Mills in D眉sseldorf (2011) and Baku (2012) and once again returned to the competition in 2021 when the contest was held in Rotterdam. Richie is a life-long Eurovision fan and has been known to host a Eurovision themed party on the night of the Grand Final! He was in Turin for the competition in 2022, reported live from Liverpool in 2023, and joined the 蜜芽传媒鈥檚 commentary team last year for the Semi Finals broadcast live from Malm枚.
