Episode 7
Byron faces the consequences of their actions but struggles to navigate their new reality.
Byron faces their toughest challenge yet as they begin their sentence in a young offender institute.
As the days and weeks pass, Byron feels increasingly isolated and shut out from the outside world. They keep their head down but soon become the target of bullies. With nowhere to hide, Byron must somehow find a way to survive.
They receive a possible lifeline when they learn that with good behaviour, and committing to further education, they stand a chance of an early release.
Byron begins to settle into a steady rhythm and strikes up an expected friendship with an inmate who challenges Byron to confront their past decisions and take genuine responsibility for their actions.
But when temptation and self-destructive impulses resurface, Byron must learn whether they can truly break free from their old patterns, stop the cycle of blame and finally accept accountability. But trapped within the confines of prison, is it too late to make a difference?
