Donegal alt-folk songwriter George Houston live in session. Described as an 鈥渁lt-folk visionary鈥�, George Houston counts music icon Paul Weller among his ever-growing devoted fan base. In fact, he recorded his brand-new album 鈥淭ODC (The Original Death Card)鈥� at Weller鈥檚 studio following a tour with the legendary musician across North America and Ireland. His songs feel fresh but they also nod to other eras and they are unapologetic, playful, defiant, poetic and tender. Before his appearance on Later with Jools Holland on the 8th of June, George plays live in session and talks to Stephen about his forthcoming new album. There will also be incredible music from David Bowie, Idlewild, Dog Race, St Vincent, BK Pepper and Sleater Kinney.
