This week Cerys welcomes Californian musician Salami Rose Joe Louis to perform live and author Paul Wood drops in to tell us about the special trees across Britain and Ireland.

This week Cerys welcomes Californian multi-instrumentalist and producer Salami Rose Joe Louis to perform live at the 蜜芽传媒 Maida vale studios. She released her latest album, Lorings, in April on Flying Lotus's Brainfeeder label. The album explores themes of imposter syndrome, love, heartbreak, family, superficiality, and frustrations with the music industry. Her influences for Lorings include jazz, experimental electronic music, and surrealist storytelling, with contributions from artists like Flanafi, Omari Jazz, Luke Titus, and Sergio Machado Plim.
Also joining Cerys in conversation is author Paul Wood, known for his books on urban nature and trees. He was born in Dover. His new book Tree Hunting explores 1,000 trees found across Britain and Ireland鈥檚 towns and cities. He highlights the most charismatic, quirky, and spectacular trees, uncovering their histories and connections to urban life.
