White Man Walking

A Storyville documentary that follows white film-maker Rob Bliss as he walks 1500 miles through America’s southern states wearing a Black Lives Matter T-shirt.

A Storyville documentary that traces the shocking, gruelling and emotional 1500-mile walk that white film-maker Rob Bliss embarked on in 2020, walking through America’s southern states, in the wake of George Floyd’s murder, wearing a Black Lives Matter T-shirt.

The film follows the highs and lows of Rob's two-month walk, capturing his encounters with a diverse range of people - some filled with rage that a white man should dare align himself with the BLM movement, others supportive and willing to join his walk for a short distance.
