• Last month he got his own statue in his hometown of Burslem - now the name of the legendary Motorhead frontman could give the Queen's Hall in Stoke - which has been closed for over a decade - a new lease of life.
• From Molineux stadium via Shrewsbury's Oktoberfest, by order of the Peaky Blinders: Get to know this week's featured artist, Black Bear Kiss, the group becoming more determined and tighter than ever before, pushing their musical boundaries, after the sudden passing of their founder member.
• In the Music News: Rounding up the local musicians performing at this year's Glastonbury Festival, the Staffordshire performers blazing a trail at the Stoke-on-Trent centenary parades and the Eurovision stars coming to Shropshire.
• A double dose of live music: Raising the roof at Liverpool's legendary Cavern Club, the Redditch musician who keeps taking his Phoebe Bridgers inspired sound to continuous new heights.
• In the week of Stoke-on-Trent turning 100, we launch a proper afterparty for the airwaves! Six towns, six DJs, six iconic locations and 100 minutes of live original music.
