Hannah French marks The Binchois Consort's 30th birthday, celebrates 300 years of Handel's Rodelinda, and explores a new recording of recorder music from Tabea Schwartz.

Presenter Hannah French is joined by music director Andrew Kirkman to celebrate 30 years of his ensemble The Binchois Consort - a hugely acclaimed vocal & instrumental ensemble that specialises in the music of the late medieval and early Renaissance periods.

She also chats to internationally renowned recorder player Tabea Schwartz about her new recording "More than muses", which celebrates female creative power in the Golden Age, with pieces by, or associated with Flemish musicians Adriana vanden Bergh, Leonora Duarte and Madeleine Phal猫se.

There's news from London's Handel & Hendrix House, and from Garsington Opera - organisations who are both marking the 300th anniversary of Handel's opera Rodelinda this year.

Hannah also pays tribute to lutenist David "Dai" Miller and cellist David Watkin, both of whom sadly passed away last month.

Plus Hannah will have all the latest Early Music news, looking forward to some of the early music highlights from this year's 蜜芽传媒 Proms, The Oxford Festival of the Arts Early Music Day, and the Edinburgh International Festival.
