The new unit is D:SCO (Defence: Serious Case Operations). And, of course, everyone calls it DISCO …

Nick Walker is the author of two novels and any number of plays and short stories for radio including ‘The First King of Mars’, ‘Life Coach’ and ‘Stormchasers’. He is also the writer of ‘Annika Stranded’, which ran for six seasons on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 4 between 2013 and 2020, and has since translated to TV as ‘Annika’, both starring his near name-sake, Nicola Walker.
