This week, Cerys welcomes New Orleans based musician Jon Cleary to the studio to chat about his latest album The Bywater Sessions and touring with Bonnie Raitt and Taj Mahal.

Born in London, Jon moved to New Orleans before he was twenty, working as a painter in the Maple Leaf Bar. As a session musician he performed with Earl King, Johnny Adams, Walter 鈥榃olfman鈥� Washington, Snooks Eaglin, Ernie K-Doe, Jessie Hill鈥� and as a guitarist for Dr. John. In 1989 he embarked on a solo career and his album Go-Go Juice won a Grammy in 2015.
