Leominster 26
Caroline Hawley learns about a historic choral festival, while antiques experts Gary Pe and Tim Weeks hope their teams’ items hit the right note with the bidders at auction.
Presenter Caroline Hawley visits Hereford Cathedral to talk to a familiar face about the world’s longest-running music festival. The greatest composers of the last 300 years have created works for the Three Choirs Festival, which this year takes place in Hereford.
Elsewhere in the county, two teams hope to strike the right chord with their experts, Gary Pe and Tim Weeks, when they go in search of three items to sell at auction. With Gary are friends Sally and Rachel, who have worked together for 22 years. They admit to having no experience at haggling, so they will certainly need Gary’s help.
With Tim are partners James and Aaron, and toys are on their shopping list. Their mantra is to spend big to win big, so we will see if that works out for them when their items go under the hammer at Matthew Tong’s saleroom near Wrexham.
