Olia Hercules rustles up charred courgette and halloumi with a sharp lyok dressing and a misery salad, while Cyrus Todiwala prepares spiced Parsee fried chicken, and Julie Lin serves up a Malaysian curry for breakfast with a side of roti jala.

Lisa Allen has a masterclass in steak cookery with a simple-but-delicious hanger steak, blue cheese sauce and asparagus salad. Carmen O'Neal gives a rundown of three different gin styles and the best way to drink them. And Jack Savoretti faces his food heaven or food hell - and literally sings for his supper.

Meanwhile, Rick Stein heads out in search of bass in Chesapeake Bay, and the Hairy Bikers are sampling a taste of Welsh roasted coffee.
