Plockton Music School at 25

Anna Massie with the very best of folk and roots music from Scotland and beyond.

We mark the 25th anniversary of the the National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music at Plockton. Many former students have gone on to have highly successful careers in music and Anna gets a chance to chat to some of them, and some current students, ahead of a special concert at Eden Court Theatre in Inverness.

We hear what makes Plockton such a special place and how it has nurtured musical talent over the past 25 years. We also play tracks from some well known alumni including Kim Carnie, Innes White and Mairearad Green.
