The opening round provided mixed fortunes for home hopes in 2024, with Jack Draper and Andy Murray, on his final appearance, making it through. Cameron Norrie, however, was beaten in a thrilling match by 2016 Wimbledon finalist Milos Raonic, while Dan Evans was forced to retire against Brandon Nakashima.
