The Reunion

Six months after undertaking the race of a lifetime, the five intrepid pairs meet for the first time since returning home.

Six months after undertaking the race of a lifetime, the five intrepid pairs meet for the first time since returning home.

Together, they reflect on their race, which began at one of the wonders of the world, the Great Wall of China. The journey saw them navigate their way across three vastly different countries – China, Nepal and India – in a whirlwind adventure taking them over 14,000km and via seven checkpoints, to the finish line in Kanniyakumari, the southernmost point of India.

The teams reminisce about being forced out of their comfort zones, traversing the two most populated countries on earth, and recount the beautiful and unique landscapes they witnessed, the local transport and people they encountered, as well as the harsh realities of life on the road.

Including behind-the-scenes insights and unseen moments, this one-off special offers an in-depth and intimate look into how the travellers coped with the trials and tribulations of a life-affirming race, and the impact it’s had on their lives and relationships. It’s a heart-warming celebration of their Race Across the World.
