Jamie launches Radio 2 Loves Jazz season with Grammy Award-winning UK star Jacob Collier.
Jacob, who released the fourth and final volume of his sprawling Djesse project last year, is headlining Love Supreme festival. Jamie and him get deep into the music, talk about his influences from Bobby McFerrin to Keith Jarrett and the Beach Boys, and how he approaches big outdoor concerts.
Jamie also has details of other Radio 2 Loves Jazz programmes, like Clive Myrie's Kings of Jazz and a track from The Soul Jazz Summit concert - recorded at Cheltenham Jazz Festival, which is airing in full this weekend. He'll also be playing music from artists on the Love Supreme lineup.
