Stay [This Is Graceland]

Bill Drummond and Eamonn McNamee talk about a new collaborative concept album, Stay.

“Stay” with the possible subtitle ‘This Is Graceland’ is a new collaborative concept album instigated by artist, author and producer Bill Drummond and delivered by musical director Eamonn McNamee with a cast of incredible songwriters based in Northern Ireland including Duke Special, Tanya Mellotte, Tony Wright, Arborist and Paula Flynn. The album will be performed live on one occasion only – at a special event dubbed “The 25 Comeback Special” at the end of August. The concept behind the album involves the ghost of Elvis Presley and the relocation of Graceland to the Curfew Tower in Cushendall in the heart of the Glens of Antrim. But why? Stephen drove to Cushendall and spoke to Bill and Eamonn inside the Curfew Tower to find out more.
