Tom McKinney presents Radio 3’s Breakfast show live from Salford, including ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 3’s 25 for 25: Sounds of the Century – a series of brand new commissions celebrating and commemorating some of the biggest events of the 21st century so far. This week, Thea Musgrave pays tribute to and celebrates the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. ‘In Memoriam 2022’ was written for the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Symphony Orchestra with soloists Nicholas Daniel (oboe) and New Generation Artist Johan Dalene (violin).
